Happy New Year - House At Lock Up

End of December 2010 work continued on the South elevation trim and siding.
The crew worked on the North elevation around Rachael's Lady balcony.
The metal roof was completed on the house and garage.
One of many sunny days in Bonnington!

New Years Eve we did the topping out ceremony. We found a Douglas Fir bow to hang from the house.

Copper Mountain from the driveway on a blue sky day.

The house in the evening.

The house seen from below the driveway.

The front door jamb was installed this week.

And the East side was completed - here is Oscar's friend Bosco who belongs to one of our carpenters

The Lady Balcony got its railings.

We took a trip to the Stove shop to see our new woodstove - here it is ready to be installed. It is a Hearthstone Heritage stove which is made of soap stone.

The South side was completed.

And the interior framing was started.

The exterior is now finished and we are at 'lock up'.

Now the hard work begins with lots of decision making to be done!
