It is still 29 degrees during the day....but heading towards the Fall.

It is almost four months since we last blogged and there has been lots happening in that time. The weather has been wonderful and continues to be very warm during the daytime but heading down to 5 degrees at night time which has made the leaves on the trees start to change.
We are flying the flag for Brits Abroad ....... buying back BC one acre at a time!

We have a new family member, introducing BoJangles (the larger dog) who we adopted from our neighbours. He is a mix of an Airedale Terrier and a Karelian Bear Dog and weighs about 90 lbs. Oscar now looks quite small in comparison but he is the size of a labrador... honest!BoJangles and Oscar have known each other for over a year now so get along really well. Here we are today on our walk at Crescent Beach. BoJangles has been really good at keeping the bears away from the house.

We have done some landscaping - low maintenance is our preferred option - gravel and pot plants.

We haven't had any rain since 17th July so everything is quite dry.

To celebrate our wedding anniversary we have been on a helicopter ride over Nelson, the Valhalla Mountains and the new house. Here we are taking off in Nelson. You can just see the orange bridge in the background.

Here are the Valhalla Mountains.

And the Slocan Valley.

Here is the house from a distance with our neighbours behind on their 100 acres.

Here is the house close up.

We don't have many photos of all the Boys together but this one was taken when BoJangles had been with us just 3 days. Felix, Oscar and BoJangles aka small, medium and large.

Our driveway to the neighbours house after Rachael had mowed it with the electric lawn mower and 5 extension cables.....

A better scale photo of the dogs.

Our very own bear.
